NOTICE- Shelby County Parks Foundation is grateful to all those who have supported or participated in fund-raisers that sent proceeds to Shelby Trails, Greenway Trails and general parks maintenance. Our dedicated team of volunteers who coordinates the events need a break so BOOTS & BRIDLES, WOOFSTOCK and PARK’S PEDAL PARTY will not take place in 2019. Donations, especially for Greenway Trails, are still needed and accepted. Please make check payable to Shelby County Parks Foundation (501c3), 715 Burks Branch Rd, Shelbyville KY 40065, noting donation to Greenway Trails.
Thank you again, Clay Cottongim, volunteer consultant.

The 2018 event will be September 15 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Red Orchard Park, 704 Kentucky Street. A devoted friend to furry animals, Anna Simpson, has agreed to be chairman for this year’s activities. Mark your calendar now and watch for details.

There are registration fees for the various dog events and all proceeds go toward the Michael Kay Bark Park’s plans for improvement as well as maintenance projects at other parks’ facilities.

Young and old alike bring big and little dogs for the events that are ongoing throughout the day along with vendors, concessions and door prizes.

Thank you if you were able to join us September 16, 2017 for our annual Camp HiHo WOOFSTOCK … Proceeds from sponsors and the entry fees benefit the MICHAEL KAY BARK PARK at Red Orchard Park – close to $8,000!
